What do I do with my catches? Red bin, green bin? 🤔

Have you been wondering what to do with your backyard trap catches since the switch to the new DCC bin system?  

The most eco-friendly option available is to bury catches in your yard, which will reduce waste and add some great nutrients to your soil!  

If burial is not possible, the DCC recommends that you double bag and seal your catch before placing it in your red bin for fortnightly collection. Please do not place catches in your green bin, as this will cause odour problems at the green waste collection centre at Green Island. Thank you for all your support!
